Is there any reason to be on this site if I don't own a current generation and won't own next gen console?

I am pretty much reaching the end here with the jumping into the new cycle of gaming by default, so I figured I would ask if I don't do this, if there is still a reason to hang around here.  I would consider there being a retro game forum on here as an option.  But I do have my CADERS group, if there isn't anything here.
