okay, as we've been seeing it, Wii U has been a catastrophic failure in the sales department. worldwide it is selling less then 30k a week. and with the PS4 launching later this year at only $50 more then the deluxe Wii U bundle, with some pretty impressive hardware and sleek design I can see that the Wii U is going to be in deep trouble come this holiday season. however, I think I may have a solution that could atleast help the Wii U ship a hefty number of systems.
1. Price cut
this was a no brainer. get rid of the basic bundle completely, and bring the deluxe bundle down to $299
2. Switch Game bundles
instead of Nintendoland, how bout switch it with Super Mario 3DWorld. that game by itself, arguably doesn't seem to appealing imo, at least not compared to the Galaxy games. however bundled with the Wii U, seems like a no brainer. a perfect gift for the holidays, required the game releases at the beggining of December.
3. New ad slogan
lets just completely forget about the awful dubstep commercails, and bring in some quality advertisment. have a commercial showing quick glimpes of Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Bayonetta etc. all the best games to come out for the Wii U. show them games Nintendo, thats what we want. and no ear shattering dubstep :( seriously, that was terrible. have some sort of epic orchestrated theme. that usually works.
4. Better E-shop
okay, I really don't know why it takes Nintendo SOOO long to release games on there. heck, we should have everything from Wii's virtual console, but for some reason they are slowly re-releasing all these old games. just hire a decent sized team, and increase the rate of realeases. heck, start releasing Wii and Gamecube games with HD res on the E-shop, how hard can that be?
