I didnt know that a 400$ console can be considered as ''relatively cheap'' console.

Anyway, the X360 launched at 400$ too (300$ for basic model) back in 2005 and it sold between 60k and 80k weekly during the low season of its first two years on the market.

If you take into consideration that today's market is nowhere near as the 2005-2006 market (due to economy, iphone&tablet gaming, etc.), you won't think that sales in the 25k-50k range during the low season is a ''ridiculous thought''.

Hmm, fair point with the 360 and the price, though the games releasing on the console at the time were nothing like what we have releasing on One/PS4, as there was also competition from a PS2 that was still selling 150k+ per week and dominating support

I guess we will find out soon enough, but I really just cant see it being possible for them to do as bad as Wii U when the support will be there.
