All a dev has to do I

isS make their single player game need to connect when you buy it. And wallah your screwed. Is it that hard to see?  After scea said this media laughed. I guarantee single player games from publishers will and can be restricted via online drm on ps4. Sony are just playing pr.

Uh oh. Anothernsony line

Where in their does that say developers cant impose withinntheir own discmdata t

First of all, start wording yourself out properly.

Second, the system in use the exact same one as used on the PS3. Up to the publishers - who have lately strayed far away from DRM. Remember the EA online pass? It's not there anymore, for example.

Sony, unlike Microsoft, do not make your disc useless past its first use. And unless the publisher decides otherwise - with an online pass, feature limiter, and so on, you are free to do whatever you want with your game. Any such restriction in now unpopular with publishers, who do not enforce it anymore. While Microsoft enforces theirs on every X1 user, and then some.

You really have to be pissy and convinced that Sony is purely bad if you think the X1 is better than the PS4 in ANY way aside from the games offering. Because the X1 is clearly inferior everywhere else. Those are facts, not opinions.
