What bothers me most is the 24hr check in. This isn't actually going to affect me personally because I'm always connected to the internet, but there is a fairly large number of people out there that don't have an internet connection. With the linkage to someone's phone service this may not be as big of an issue as most think, but I still think it's unnecessary.
As far as the used game policy. For those that say Gamefly will go out of business I just don't see it. People will continue to still rent 360,ps3, Wii, WiiU, and Possibly ps4 games depending on how Sony deals with it. I Still think MS will come up with a way so you can rent X1 games, we just haven't heard about it yet.
