You aren't, Retro hired some ex Vigil Games developers.
OT: Nintendo could get a few more studios (2-3) to work on genres their actual teams aren't used work with, but what they should do is hire more people to increase their actual teams to make the development time shorter.
The partnership with other 3rd parties is good as long as is profitable, but that is only a temporary patch, not a long term solution.
