a) According to whom? I don't know anyone who has shelved theirs yet. They still play with it. I think they play more with their tablets, actually.
b) What do you mean by "the software"? As a dev toy it is far better and more versatile than a touchpad, and is Kinect 2 not coming with every nextbox anyway?
Kinect software has failed to impress, even the casuals are getting tired of it. It'll have the same effect as Wii vs Wii U. All those Kinect gamers will keep playing on their old 360 since they won't see enough reason to shell out $500+ to get a new console plus new Kinect 2.0 games.
c) Well like what? You are just saying "something new that would be amazing!"..but that might not exist. We have to talk about practical realities, not hypothetical/imaginary cash cows that
It's Nintendo, they can come up with something, just saying.

a) I know few people who own tablets, and even less who play on them at home.
b) Erm, so not true. Yes, Kinect 2.0 might get boring, but we don't know as the proc power of the xbox1 is far greater thus more is possible, and at the end of the day, you still have a realtively powerful console with a game pad in your house. The WiiU doesn't offer that.
c) Pahahaha! No, just stop right there. You say that, but look at the WiiU. They are not some demigod of devs, just another company.
