Hell yes! i don't think metroid will put nintendo on top. It just doesn't have the fan base that other games from nintendo do. I don't even understand how it's part of the "big three" as people say. That said, It's tied with zelda as my favorite nintendo franchises, and is in a constant battle with zelda and silent hill for being my favorite all around videogame franchises (metal gear is looking to take that spot as well). If they announced a new metroid for 2014, i'd be pretty damned psyched! 2013 and i may need to change my pants while watching the direct. Just realy hope they keep the story telling going. It was the only thing missing from metroid for me until otherM. That game just needed a better vocal coach/voice director. Also hope they keep it 3rd person. Also hope they keep it 3rd person. Despite the controls, i actually ended up preferring the 3rd person view to the 1st person from prime. I would understand going back to 1st though. Scanning things with the wii-pad would be more organic in 1st person. Also, i could use a sequel to otherM story wise. I feel certain that particular plot holes were left in that game for a sequel, so i'd rather a conclusion sooner than later. Fingers crossed!
