"Denny did not provide a simple yes or no answer, but said Sony will do right by developers and consumers alike."
Currently on cnet "Oh, and by the way, Sony faced similar questions when it teased the PlayStation 4 in February. While Sony, too, claimed it would allow for used games, it remains unclear what caveats might be attached to the use of those games. Since Sony's event was much more of a teaser, the company wasn't grilled as aggressively as Microsoft has been. I suspect Sony will encounter tougher questions at the PS4's true unveiling at E3 in a couple of weeks, especially if it doesn't fully explain what the company has in store for used games." Both companies have been vague about what support used games will have. both have said they will play used games, but not detailed any other possible requirements. Both simply have not said what their plans are. |
Well, like I said. We havent had anything new on PS4 used games/ DRM since reveal, back in February.
All that you just said was around PS4 reveal. What new news has there been this week to impact GS Stock? Did GS stock even get impacted around PS4 conference?
There was also "confirmation" about the patent not being used on PS4, though Im not sure how credible that can be.
