The problem with XBO's TV integration is that it is nothing new. This has been available on PSX, PS3, and 360 depending on your location. There are also many other devices that have the features seen on the XBO. Heck, my grandparents Vizio TV can browse the web while watching TV right from its own OS. Many TV's can do music, movies, netflix, hulu, and much more right out of the box.
Xbox's main sales point has always been a better experience with 3rd party games, and a select few first party titles. Now PS4 has an equal if not better Online network, and more powerful hardware leaving XBO with a disadvantage on 3rd party titles. This puts all the pressure on an unexperienced 1st party team, that will have to compete with a very structure and matured SCEWWS. The last piece of the puzzle will be answered at E3. Does MS still have the power to sway major developers to make exclusive content to their platform. Sony swayed most devs last gen to PS3 (I'll bet with a promise of a much better future with PS4), and now I expect to see a major shift were some old friends return to exclusivity, and some old exclusives find their way to multiple platforms.
Bring on E3!
