It's actually really different to zelda, the platforming is puzzle. For example, there are hidden platforms, some platforms are switches, there are hidden passages in the walls. You can only jump from tile to tile and the enemy AI is coded against that mechanism.
It really is different from Zelda, the only thing they have in common is hearts, a top-down view and a selection of items.
