@OP nope, E3 is a commercial media joke and just a gaming journalism gimmick plus the whole "Booth Babe!" thing , E3 have become the same as WWE but for gaming, just PR crap and celebrities.
it have been this way about 4 years ago, most of the better announcements get announced before or after E3
