I don't see why so many people are making such a big deal of this. It comes with the system, so what's the big deal about it being required? I didn't here anyone whining about having to use the Wiimote for the Wii's UI.

The difference being that the Wiimote wasn't on a lowpowered state and could see me. They claim "strong privacy protection" but the PSN hack of 2011 is still fresh in my mind.

I'm sure Microsoft learned to safe guard PSN better...wait!? You lost me...
