I can see this concept in a family friendly, 7 in. tablet form, called something like "Wii U-Reader". It would be interesting to see how they would make this function "remote" wise as a gamepad, since it would have its own specs, it wouldn't tax the U console. Give it a modest 720p resolution, 30-50ft better wifi distance, and off tv play would be perfect.
