The link u provided even stated that for people who buy 3D tvs , 3D Iisnt even the main selling point, they mentioned resolution, screen size and internet as bigger reasons. You jump to conclusions and generalize to much, maybe GI Joe and Jack the Giant Slayer made money because of 3D or maybe its because GI Joe is one of the most popular toy lines ever and Jack & the bean stalk is one of the most known fairy tales in the world. Daredevil and Fantastic Four revoots is probably because of the huge popularity of super hero movies and the last ones werent very good so reboot makes sense. Sin City tho does seem like a movie that would benefit 3D tho.

But smart 2D TVs have the same factors as resolution, screen size and Internet especially, so that still doesn't explain the sales of 3D TVs as its own subject being up. But this does explain what people see in smart TVs As its own subject is also up in sales.

About what I have said in sales, well I based it on these things:

http://nintendo3dsblog.com/nintendo-misses-their-forecasted-sales-for-the-3ds-but-still-sells-3600000-units/

http://nintendo3dsblog.com/the-3ds-has-sold-over-5000000-units-in-japan-in-under-one-year/

http://nintendo3dsblog.com/the-nintendo-3ds-has-sold-4500000-units-in-the-united-states/

So sorry if people thought of a different generalization, but I didn't mention what kind of generalazation to begin with, but it does seem that Yakuzaice is just quick to attack 3D in anyway shape and form as fast as possible.

G.I. Joe hasn't been a popular toy line in a while, they can't even sale a new cartoon of it, and the toys popularity seems to have plummet considerably. I would say something about how the previous G.I. Joe movie sales went but I don't know what the sales of the first movie is.

Fantastic four doesn't have enough popularity for movies, at least not in this day & age. dareDevil was clearly seen as too risky and not worth a studios money & time after the first one failed to make a profit by a good margin.

Sin City & Great Gatsby are clealry movies that will benefit from 3D as the Great Gatsby in 3D has already shown to viewers of the original 3D format. My point about Sin City is that it is still risky as far as hollywood is concern but they are doing it anyways, which seems to suggest that they have data showing that they can have a 99% to 100% chance of a new installment in 3D making a definite profit while in theaters.
