The reason why ticket sales are still low from 11 years ago is because of bootlegs (as shown in Seinfeld LOL) & recently streaming via Netflix & Hulu plus & etc. The only reason people have to go to theaters when they can stream the 2D movies online and download the bootlegs is because there is now 3D movies that you won't be able to view in 3D online yet. And the ticket price of 3D movies is going down while the price of 2D movies is going up to match dead even later this year in theaters.
The sales of 2D HD TVs have drop fast which has drag the TV market down, but 3D TVs sales are up higher & higher these days. So that just shows that no one wants HD is all.
And the moderate at best software sales of the Wii is what I mean, because 3rd party Devs still continue to make new games exclusively for the Wii despite the Wii having nothing but bad to moderate software sales thruout its lifespam and the GameCube before it as well in software sales. The PS3 & 360 have been sharing their games with each other and the PC & Wii U.
Batman was successful and so was spider-man so of course they got reboots easily. But Superman has been going down hill since Superman 3 let alone 4 & 5(Returns). The Superman reboot is way to risky for any studio to touch with a 50 foot poll, so to take a chance on that would mean they would need something more then just a good script to expect a profit in box office sales. But you clearly don't know what it's like for Hollywood to even consider making reboots of movies that did poorly in the box office like DareDevil & super Mario bros., and ey are making a Super Mario Bros. 2 as Jon Hamm mention on Jimmy Kimmel Live when he revealed that he went for the casting call to play Luigi but got turn down.
And I was talking about the 3DS not sharing games like monster hunter 4 & kingdom hearts 3D, while the HD consoles get low quality games like resident evil 6 & FF13 and they aren't even exclusives and they have such poor quality.

The point is the PS2 and Wii are not topping sales currently. It doesn't matter what their LTD is. The DS is still ahead of the 3DS by 120 million, does that mean people want 2D and don't care about 3D?
So it seems people are more interested in new ways to watch 2D content than to go out and watch 3D movies, gotcha. Why would they need to lower prices of 3D movies if people are rabid for them? Surely they'd pay any price. The studios wouldn't need to increase the price of 2D to encourage more people to see 3D. So if the prices are dead even, what you are saying is there is no value in 3D.
They are still buying more HDTV's than 3DTV's. If that is no one, then how do you describe the 3DTV audience? Not to mention of course that pretty much all the 3DTV's are HD as well.
Are third parties continuing to make Wii exclusives? The list you gave me was all from years ago, mostly published by Nintendo, and one of the franchises went multi-platform. I still don't see how it is relevant to Vita support. Gamecube might not have sold a ton of software, but the Wii sold a lot of hardware and publishers wanted to take a crack at that userbase. Even so the support wasn't amazing. Why though does it prove that the Vita would get 3DS games if they weren't 3D?
Both Batman and Spider-Man were going downhill before their reboots. That's why they needed a reboot. Don't see how the Superman reboot is more risky than the Hulk reboot. I can't seem to find any information on it other than a thread you made a couple months back, but I suspect you are taking a joke as an announcement in regards to the Mario movie.
Once again with RE6 and FFXIII. Where did you get into your head that those were the only games on HD consoles?

We've been over this before. Stop making up numbers. Whether we are talking about US or worldwide, the 3DS is not above both the GBA and DS for every one of those time frames. The GBA was performing better in the early time frame, and by now the DS has pulled ahead.

The DS came out 7 years earlier. And it had Pokémon 4th gen much earlier in its life spam. Pokémon 7th Gen won't come out until around the 31st month.
And they are lowering the price of 3D movies to have an excuse to increase the price of 2D movie tickets. Plus more & more people keep getting 3D TVs and Vudu and other streaming services keep adding 3D streaming library of 3D movies which gives theaters all the more reason to even the price between 3D & 2D movies while finally being able to increase the price of 2D movies further, without good enough outrage from the public.
And even though they are still buying more 2D TVs then 3D TVs, you forget that 2D TVs sales have plummet while 3D TVs sales keep going up & up, so clearly 2D TVs are going the way of the dinosaurs, but a slow painful death version.
And 3rd parties are not making games for the Wii because of the Wii U shown at E3 2011 which has been out since 2012.
Batman had continue to show that it can make a profit with less quality and at if someone can make a high quality batman movie, that that would ensure a profit no matter what.
Spider-man was bigger with 3 then any of the previous 2, and there was no need for a reboot nor make anymore installments when they left the movie with such a big way to finish with Spider-Man 3.
About the Mario bros. movie 2, they have been filming in Georgia, and there was a casting call even earlier during previous year. A lot of movies get filmed in Georgia and this just happens to be one of many movies filmed in Georgia.
And you clearly miss my point about RE6 & FF13 vs. KH3D & RE:R.
And Nintendo said that the 3DS sold more in its first 12 months then GameBoy Advance, so I'll take what they say over what you say anytimU aree.

I understand wanting to defend things u enjoy, everybody does Iit, but stop throwing out false claims and acting like ur opinions are fact. How did Jack the giant slayer make at least 215 million dollars which makes no sense but it happened.
He keeps mentioning that 3D TvS are HD, but why would people buy a 3D tV for Hd if they can get a 2D Hd tv For a cheaper price or upgrade to a bigger screen and/or LED or plasma display.
He mentions that 2D TVs are the majority of tv sales, but this statement is just dodging the fact the 2D tVs are continue to drop while 3D TVs sales continue to rise.
And he dodge the Fantastic Four & Daredevil reboots.
And he doesn't give a good explanation on why sin city would be uncanceled.
