EA was seriously considering buying Take Two back in 2008. They are within reach of a buyout by the biggest players of the industry.

Why would it be cheaper for one company than another??

because nintendo would have to handle the huge losses take-two would generate then. the teams would be way too big, they would have to cancel games for different platforms and future sales would be much lower. lower sales for games like nba when you pay for the licence doesn't sound that great either.

Yep spot on. Nintendo bought a great team for a cheap price and then will give them a decent budget that will expect return for at least 800k sales.
