Nintendo will never do anything like this. It would be a huge chunk of their warchest, for a company that would be limited to one platform.
They won't even start their own studios to make games like NBA 2K or Bio Shock or GTA, even though they've had the resources for many years and that would be far more cost efficient.
Nintendo is a family brand too, they are not interested in being too closely alligned with things like Grand Theft Auto either IMO. They'll accept it as a third party title sure, but getting closer than that is probably a no-go in their book.
