the concept OS was basic android/iphone layout, nothing novel. all the miiverse features already exist on iphone/android via nintendo's offical smartphone apps. wiiU already does remote play when you are home. remote play to a phone won't happen over 3G so you'd need at least a wifi connection making the feature extreemly limited when you are away from home. plus you'd have to carry around a gigantic (as for as mobility goes) peripheral.
no other features were shown. so what are you excited for? the idea that nintendo might make games? ..they are already doing that.
