So the atrocious sales are for everyone, particularly Wii U and Vita. There's still hope for Wii U, but right now there's none at all for Vita.
But, as othrs have pointed out, this is a very bad sign as we head into the next generation. People clearly don't want new consoles. I don't think it's people holding out for a PS4/NextBox, the general public likely don't even know they're coming. People just can't afford and don't want to pay $500 in order to play the best versions of the game, when they can still get the game for their current system at 1/10th the price.
As for 3DS? Eh...I don't know what to say really. Down YoY is pretty bad, certainly, but there's nothing to worry about with Pokemon and Zelda right around the corner.
