I don't think a lot of the people salivating at the thought of EA not supporting Nintendo and beating off to this don't actaully realize the industry wide implications if this is true.
This essentially means EA is going all-in on online features like DLC, and other publishers are looking to follow a similar strategy. We think EA's going to do this, but just wait when Activision tries.
And it makes sense why. If you want to sell people DLC and expansion packs, you need them online. No doubt Sony and M$ want to appease such developers and hence their (publisher decides stuff). Dark ages are a coming.
