It just has much better keyboard shortcuts than 7 But personally, I just launch up Chrome and use it in the same way. Either click on the link on the start menu, type "windows button - chr - enter" (depending on what programmes you have installed) or click in the bottom left corner of the screen. You can also just press enter straight after getting to the start menu if you put the desktop link in the top left on the menu Windows 8 has no negative effect on my productivity. If someone could actually explain what is wrong with Windows 8 then I would be very grateful. I don't understand the negative press |
Try being a power user. It can be a pain in the ass.
Much of the negativiety comes from the simple removal of features and the lack of the ability to jump straight into the Dekstop from boot.

What do you mean by a power user? I feel I take advantage of many features of Windows and use it on a dual-monitored desktop with no touch screen. I should be using it in the traditional way, which apparently is awful
