You're right though, Wii Sports was all anyone needed for a while on Wii because it was such a must-have title, and we should have had a glimpse of 3D Mario by now. Seeing is enough to generate hype though; I'd almost certainly be much more excited if I'd seen trailers for 3D Mario, and I think this is a common sentiment. To at least be able to see goodness coming our way is better than some indistinct possibility of a game with no concrete info.
