hmm..I just went through the data again and it is different from when I collected in on Thursday..so yeah now I arrive at cj's numbers.
If Wii sells say..420,000 over the next 14 days (2 weeks), then that is 30,000 per day, and Wii would hit 5 million sold in 2007 10.633 days after May 27...if we assume there can be no fractions of a day, then that would be on June 7, 2007 (see thread title...) even with the slight adjustment downward since I got the data.
Yeah, so Wii will hit 5 million in Vgcharts data for the week's data ending June 10, which will show up on the website June 12-June 14.
I still can see the 5 million crossover point before June 7, 2007. I think in the USA there will be a boost for Memmorial Day and Mario Party 8 as Nintendo makes sure hardware is readily available, and in Japan for getting out of the typical mid May doldrums and Resident Evil 4.
