Fighting (are fairies pacifists? 
) and Fire (I got nothing.) are definitely reaching for sure, and I'd say that those two (with Dragon) are moreso reasons to balance the game (especially for dragon and fighting, who have taken over the metagame offensively) and to boost fire (which has been a bad typing for a couple of generations now).
They just need to nerf stealth rock. Please GameFreak, please nerf stealth rock.
