Of course it's not black or white.  As someone who deals with company PR it's definitely on a person by person basis.  You might get lucky and find someone that's super easy to get a hold of and always willing to help and then if they leave for a different company the person that replaces them may never return your calls.  You can't just say, "oh 2 companies had a good experience so that means Nintendo is always available".  Even if you could you're going to have to prove first that the two indie devs that you're probably hearing about for the first time today are more believable than Avalanche.

They're more believeable because they're users on gaf and we have had many cases of users on gaf coming out and saying things as they were. I think they are under threat of permaban if they lie about things like that if they are actually in the industry.

Also, this isn't about PR it's about tech support, way different things. But let's say I'll indulge you for a second. You're telling me that the support companies are getting from Nintendo are on a company by company basis, so certain accounts would be neglected by Nintendo and others not. If Nintendo is pushing for supporting indie devs, requiring was it no royalties on the Unity engine for Wii U (I can't remember), and bending over backwards for two companies that have spoken out (not just helping, but it seems even pleasing), I'm not sure why I should believe Avalanche.

And how exactly would you prove that said Indie devs were lying about being treated nicely in order to permaban them, seems like a pretty damned weak threat to me.

oh goody, my reasonable idea about the possibility of variance in experiences when dealing with a large group of people....huzzah~

You also know people have different experiences with tech support too right?  One person might say Sony is awesome every time they call while another has no luck.  It's the actual person you are dealing with that determines it.

I'm not saying that Nintendo as a company is specifically deciding "hey lets give ____ support but fuck _____".  I'm saying that two people can have different experiences with the same company and that doesn't mean one is lying, it just means one had a good experience with the company while the other didn't.
