The Wii U is barely more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3. Stop lying to yourself, the PS4 is around 4 to 5 times as powerful as the Wii U. Use Google, these are cold hard facts. The Wii U has 1GB of slow RAM for games, while the PS4 has 6.5 ultra fast GB of RAM, with a much more powerful GPU.
You don't honestly believe the Wii U is powerful? If it was then devs wouldn't laugh at it when asked would they port their engines to it. Unreal engine 4 games compared to UE3 games have a very noticeable difference. Killzone Shadowfall, a launch game, blows anything the Wii U will ever be capable of out of the water. When next gen games are pushing these graphics to new heights, such as BF4, why would people settle for the Wii U? Which isn't capable of playing these games and caters to a young/non-hardcore audience with terrible ports and 3rd part support?
Point is. Wii U is weaksauce compared to Nextbox and PS4. It's going to come in dead last this gen because the gimmick isn't a console seller, and Nintendo only moves consoles off of gimmicks.

you again? and i see you still haven't done yout math homework, tsk tsk. WII U = 3-4x xbox 360. ps4 would need 12-20x xbox 360 to be 4-5x wii u and that would still be a difference 4 times smaller than wii-ps360.
ps4, if much, is 2.5x wii u. next box should be between 1.5-2x wii u. small difference.

Where's the source from the Wii U = 3x4 Xbox 360's. Cause from what I read the GPU is only capable of only 380 flops lol no way in hell something with that little amount of pure flops is around 3x4 a XBox 360. No trick in the book can solve that.

the source is comon sense considering what we know about wii u specs. your source on the other hand is nonexistant since nobody discovered wii u's gpu full details. but considering it's a modern customized gpgpu, one doesn't need to be a genius to deduce it's 3-4x the 9 year old xbox360.

Dude why do you keep hoping that there is some secret sauce in the Wii U that makes it 4 times more powerful then current gen consoles? It's a bit useless to speculate about the processing power when the console is already out and developers who worked on it literally say it's on par with the ps3/ 360. Hell, some even complained how slow it is compared to this gen, like the guys who are making Metro, and the co-founder of Epic had to laugh when a reporter asked if Unreal4 would come to the Wii U.
If it really was 4 times more powerful then current gen consoles, then we should have seen one game that looks better then what we are seeing on Xbox/ps3. Also, all the ports would be in 1080p, simply because a current gen port would leave a lot of headroom to run it in a higher resolution if what your saying is true. Keep in mind that streaming games to the tablet controller also takes up a chunk of the processing power.

where's the secret? as far as i know if everything on the console is years ahead than previous consoles, isn't it normal to expect it to be x times more powerfull? you are the one(s) who keep dreaming wii u will be underpowered, it looks like a self affirmation to prove your console is better. i'm so glad none of you have curé syndrome.

Yes everybody expects a console that comes out 6 years late to the party to be next gen. When they revealed the Wii U at E3 I expected nothing less then all ps3/ 360 games looking like crap in comparison to the "next gen" graphics of the Wii U. Even a launch title like Zombi U should have wowed me but it looked kinda meh and definetly not a upgrade to what we seen before on 6 year old hardware.
There is just no such thing as a console designed as a native 720p machine if it could actually handle 1080p. Lots of current gen ports were announced as 1080p native titles but got downscaled to 720p already. That alone should tell you that the Wii U is not really next gen material. I am sure it's more powerfull then current gen consoles but developers really need to dig deep to get a result that most people won't even notice. Just look at NFS Most Wanted where Criterion really put in the work to make a superior Wii U version. If developers really need to put in so much work then they'll probably not bother, just like with the ps3 (which has a huge installbase to ignore). If developers have problems now, then what will happen when MS/ Sony come out with an easy-to-develop-for platform and 6 times the power?
Frost Bite 3 has never been running on WiiU. We did some tests with not too promising results with FB2 & chose not to go down that path.
