No he keeps defending the Wii hardware by saying things like: Graphics have stagnated and only graphic whores will see a difference when they would compare the Wii U and next console versions side by side, or Dice sucks because they can't get Frostbite 3 running on the Wii U. That just isn't the case. If any game, developed on the Unreal 4 engine for example, even gets ported then it would be running on the UET3 engine and basically look like a different game. Since nobody cares for scaled down ports, developers probably won't bother. A big installbase really won't change that when it's a totally different audience compared to the core gaming focussed consoles, just look at the Wii sales for MW.
Doesn't mean the Wii U is totally crap, it just means it's crap for core gamers who want to play games that show a revolution in graphics compared to this gen. It also doesn't mean developers are going to ignore the Wii U. Off course they will support it, it just will be with different types of games. What do you think would make more sense for Ubisoft: Launch a watered down Assasins Creed 6 that nobody cares about or sell millions by doing a HD Just Dance 4?

graphics already achieved the "amazing" level a while ago. wii u is quite more powerfull than ps360. ps4/next box aren't much more powerfull than wii u. so no big difference in graphics, it's as simple as that.

Maybe there isn't much room for improvement when it comes to franchises like 3D Mario and Mario Karts. But that doesn't mean things can't get any better in general though. There are plenty of games that would never run on current gen consoles, especially large scale online games. Sony tried this gen with games like MAG, Dust 512, Star Hawk but they all looked like SNES games compared to Sony's Planet Side 2, which really needs 8 gigs of ram just to run. NExt gen, online gaming will no doubt be taken to a new level with thousands of players online at once, huge open levels and incredible graphics at the same time.

things can get better, but what exists already reached a level where there isn't much difference from what's better. it also takes much more power to increase quality just a little.
