On Fire Emblem, I do think you are right. Personally I barely knew the franchise existed. Haven't gotten Awakening yet, but I see myself getting it somewhere down the line because it pretty awesome. Metroid's a whole lot more known though, we'll see how much better it will do if a 3DS game releases.

You got me checking. VGC says that there were just over 3.5m 3DS's sold the week before the pricecut happened (and then did almost 400k the week after). Probably not everyone got into the ambassador program. Man, my ambassador-activated is actually a pretty rare 3DS then! O.O
