It doesn't hugely matter though. I don't think RDJ wants to do a 4th Iron Man film, so it hopefully won't force them to make a sequel and it is clearly profitable. Marvel aren't going to be slowing down their production schedule any time soon


They can give it a rest anyways. Like Bale's Batman, it will be hard to find a better or even Decent Iron Man after RDJ. Same with his Sherlock Character. I know others have done both Batman and Sherlock, but Bale does Batman great and RDJ does Sherlock and Iron Man great.

Seems like he was leaving the character behind when he left that kid all that stuff, Pepper was in constant danger, and he blew up his suits. But I think he will come back for The Avengers 2 and 3. Just not Iron Man 4-10. Or The Avenger will just put into the storyline that he has not suits at the time.

Well while I say that they won't want to slow down their Marvel films, equally I don't think that they will want to go for more than movies per year. So I agree with you here, we won't be seeing any individual Iron Man films certainly for a while as they move onto newer characters and films (Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant Man etc)

I do have to quickly disagree about Sherlock. There are 3 different current interpretations, Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock (BBC) and Elementary. I only watch Sherlock, I tried to watch RDJ's version, but it just seemed wrong and confusing

Maybe SPOILER, but after the film, it did certainly say RDJ and Iron Man will return and as well as this, they have vaguely said that the original roster for the Avengers will return for the Avengers 2. I wouldn't be too sure about further films beyond that, I am sure they will want to include their newer characters without everything exploding out of control. I must say I think that Iron Man has been the best so far, but Marvel seem to know what they are doing with their other characters I guess, I will certainly miss Iron Man though
