And Wii-U will not have all the multi-platform titles the PS4 and Nextbox will have. Once PS3 and X360 stopping getting these multi platform games and developers start focusing on the PS4 and nextbox alot will pass by the Wii-U aswell.

And even if it would get all the same multi platform titles, gamers who are mainly buying a console for those multi-platform games will buy a PS4 or the next xbox. It doesn't make any sense to buy a much weaker system for your favorite games.

So what do you end up with? Only the gamers that put Nintendo's franchises first will buy a Wii-U, aka another gamecube, with maybe a few million casuals buying it because it is ''the new Wii'' once the price is right.

 

bolded 1: if you think third party's won't port 8th generation games to wii u (if it doesn't become the leading platform) you are delusional. companys like money, a wii u port will give them more money, it's pretty simple.

bolded 2: wii u isn't much weaker than their future competitors and your will isn't gonna change that unless you develop curé syndrome. a gamer who buys a console for multiplatform will get the cheaper console with the best exclusives, a.k.a wii u. In case you didn't notice, when someone plays a videogame there isn't a magical screen that makes a side by side comparison with other consoles so you can see wich has 10 more pixels. As you stated, these people want the multiplatforms so any console that has them is an option and wii u is the cheapest one.

I'm done discussing this, if you really think people who play games like Call of Duty, GTA, Fifa, Assasins creed etc. will pick the Wii-U as their primary system you're living in another dimention. Wii-U doesn't even ship with a descent controller for those games(and no people are not going to hold a big clumsy tablet controller to frag in COD). 5-6 times more powerfull makes all the difference in the world, not just to gamers but to developers aswell.

People will buy a Wii-U if Nintendo's franchises are the most important to them, if not they will pick PS4 or nextxbox.
