The most interesting part is this one: "The publication says that a number of blockbuster Wii U games will be released from summer until the end of the year." I was expecting this, of cource, but it seems like the retailers were satisfied. Which again interests me. I'm wondering what else they have in line...

Their plan probably is letting the Wii U remain in a coma until the second semester, then a global relaunch, which includes far better marketing (it can´t be that hard, considering how pitiful it has been), a price cut plus Pikmin 3/W101/3D Mario/Mario Kart/Wind Waker remake...starting in August, 5 games and 5 months, one game per month.

Smash, WiiFit, WiiSports U, etc..for next year.

That´s my guess.

I doubt the retailers care too much about Pikmin and W101, they ain't system sellers, and I think that most of the ones that are going to buy those already owns a Wii U. The others are major system sellers, but I still feel that something is missing. Nintendo have been speaking about the NFC thing, but it seems like it is Pokemon rumble they are talking about, which is a shame.

And I'm not really sure about that marketing. It's been sucky for a long while now. Especially those "I'm not a gamer, but I get paid for doing stupid commercials so I play them anyways" have been going one for quite a while now, and even though fans in the comment section on youtube have been calling Nintendo out for these commerials, they don't listen. Not to mention, some of the recent ones have been half private (you need the link to watch them), which make it seem like Nintendo understands that their fans hate the commercials, but they don't really do anything about it. And those commercials haven't really been setting the world on fire either.
