Different from each other? Is pokemon similar to mario then? Is animal crossing similar to zelda? It might be because Metroid was made to be a mix of Mario and Zelda though. But there still are plenty of others more worthy of the place (I consider the big three to be a mix between sales and quality, therefore mario, zelda and pokemon)
