It should be they just counter with their normal attack.

Why should a total pussy do the same amount of damage to my completely maxed out god character as i do to him?

I mean when your on lunatic mode its not like enemies are doing 0 damage.  It's more like they cna't hit you than their damage is 0.  Thus since counter "always" hits it would be damage still.  

I guess that works as well. But it was so underpowered in Radiant Dawn, and now it's ridiculous!
