Then Mario 64 wouldn't be considered one. Games can be masterpieces based off gameplay alone.

I get what hes trying to say tho, those 2 games u just need to follow the successful formula that has already been established. Retro is so talented that they can create completely new gaming experiences.

There's still room to change that formula if need be; they're not locked in.
