Don't get me wrong, I love to see a good 3D movie in a Cinema. But most of the cheap 3D DLP projections have ruined it for me.
I was lucky enough to see Cameron's Avatar in the heavy glasses Film 3D, and it was amazing. The glasses were heavy, but it looked so good. I saw it later in DLP and I felt like half the movie's visuals were missing. DLP is like a bad disco torture. So many of the cinemas use DLP and I would rather say home than watch the bad flickery video. Also, I have been spoiled by my 120 Hz TV, so a 24P movie is just slow, flicker, flicker, annoying. I’d have to have a few drinks to slow down enough to enjoy it. And most Cinema’s around me charge for parking, so I would end up wasting too much money afterwards. For me to go to the Cinema it has to be a good 3D film that I want to see, or something with friends.
I added some notes on the movies you suggested. PS I really wish I could get excieted for the new Star Trek, but I watched the last one. It wasn't really Sci Fi or Star Trek, it reminded me of 'The Rock' in space. Sort of fun, but you constantly have to try to keep turning your brain off cause it keeps insulting you, kinda movie. I can have fun watching the restored Oringal Sercies, though. |
Yeah, I didn't like the first Star Trek movie either, and I do like the 60's series more then all other Star Trek.
I only saw the first 2 Fast & Furious movies and I didn't like the first one while the second one seem like how the first one should have been, I basically tuned out after 2, but I have been wanting to see Tokyo Drift.
Jim Carry plays Col. Star & Strips, so it seems like the right kind of side charecter for him to play.
I have only seen trailers for the first R.E.D. movie.
Meet the Parents & Meet the Fockers are good movies, but Little Fockers wasn't that good. Anyways Peeples has nothing to do with those movies, except that it should be a good comedy movie of that kind of style.
I have only seen Will Smith's kid in "the Karate Kid", and he was good.
Yeah, Hangover really is like a watch later at home kind of movies. I didn't like the first one, and I haven't seen the second one but it seems like the second one should be as good as the first one was suppose to be like.
I have only seen 3D movies in Real D 3D and also bootleg on my Nintendo 3DS, and I liked it.
What is DLP?
And what is 24p?
Anyways Man of Steel 3D should be worth watching.
And is there any 3D movie of 2013 you would like to see?
