Well the 3DS can handle MT Framework engine & also Sumo engine, so what does that say?

3DS can run a version of MT Framework specificly aimed at mobile devices and handhelds, which isn't saying much. Wii could run MT Framework Lite, which was used for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

However, High Voltage Software claimed that the 3DS is, in some ways, more powerful than the Wii. Between the small screen and better texture and shading ability (as well as apparently being easier to develop graphics for in general), it's quite feasible for 3DS games to be graphically superior.

So they said it has better textures as in more polygons then Wii.

They say it has better shaders as in more shader cores too.

And they say it has a small screen which explains the difference between the 1st year 3DS game Spider-Man Edge of Time and the 5th year Wii game Spider-Man Edge of Time.

So the 3DS vs, Wii, well it seems that the 3DS is set to overkill, LOL.

Spiderman was a rushjob, hence it would obviously be better on the system that's easier to program for, which is the 3DS. Also, 1st year Wii games like Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 most likely couldn't be replicated on 3DS. (In fact, they automatically couldn't because the 3DS can't output 480x640 like Wii can)

And High Voltage said the 3DS had better shading and texturing ability. (Due to newer GPU techniques and more RAM) Never did hey say it pushed more polygons, and we already know it's screen resolution is lower than the Wii, even in 3D.

So that's what it is. So the 3DS has better architecture in its GPU & CPU & RAM, as well as more clockspeed power in its CPU (4-core 400 MHz a core probably) & GPU (400 MHz).

But we know it's 40 Mtriangles at 100 MHz and 160 Mtriangles at 400 MHz, so resident evil revelations must have done at least 110 million triangles until Devs can push new games further. And the difference between the 3DS & HD version doesn't look that different from the screenshots I have seen of the HD version.

Plus Spider-Man Edge of Time wasn't rush, well maybe it was on the 3DS. I know that Sonic Generations was rush on the 3DS version of the game, but it still came out real good looking. And I know Super Mario 3D Land & Mario Kart 7 was rush to meet the first November.

Plus even though the 3DS is much more easy to develop for, it takes a lot more longer to develop games then it would for the Wii. So basically the 3DS is easier to develop for, for faster development but also takes a lot more longer to develop for. I believe this speaks volumes.

Another example is Rodea the Sky Soldier which had the Wii version finish development back in June or July 2011, but the 3DS version is still in development. So comparing Rodea the Sky Soldier on both the Wii & 3DS to each other should be the best way to show the difference.
