There are things from each game that I liked better than the other.
Single Player: Gears 2( more Epic moments than 1 or 3)
Multiplayer: Gears 3(dedicated servers alone makes it the best, and the smoothest)
Multiplayer maps: Gears 2(Has the most maps, and imo the best ones)
Horde: Gears 3(so damn addicting)
I'll go with Gears 3 as my favorite. If it wasn't for the damn sawed-off I would have put more time into the multiplayer. I also hate the DLC achievements in Gears 3, to many require certain skins to be used. Haven't played Judgement yet.
