Your definiton is meaningless. Taken at its own terms, there is no game that is not niche: you throw words like "everyone" around far too carelessly. Also, the Call of Duty games sell pretty steadily, and to largely the same userbase and demographic. Congratulations, it is now "niche," because it only sells to its "fans."
Also, Mario now has no fans. Well played!
