| ioi said: How is the game database on Gamewise inferior? The actual version - we have developed a new gaming site that focuses more on games (new, retro, casual, core) and allows users to add deep information to each game (like you would on a wiki) covering characters, levels, items and so on. The Gamewise database is far beyond what we used to have on VGChartz. As part of the Gamewise experience, a major focus will be on building game collections and showing them off via widgets, forum signatures and so on. This is still being fleshed out now and will be live in a few months. With this in mind, we are no longer updating or focusing on these features on VGChartz (and they will eventually be phased out) but you will be able to link back to your Gamewise collections via the aforementioned widgets once they go live. |
Say Wha?
So my job is useless now....
With Gamewise, will our VGC collection be updated to Gamewise? I have 500 games on VGC, and I'm not going to add them to Gamewise 1 by 1.
Let me know if you want any help with the database for Gamewise. I want to be able to do more then just edit release dates on VGC. However, if we update VGC's database, don't we update GameWise as well? So until Gamewise is up and running, why can't we fix the issues with VGC's database (missing games, improperly labeled games, etc). I mean the Aliens registry for PSV is kinda a slap in the face for Alteir fans.
P.S. Is this why you have been ignoing my PM's about inaccurate registries in the game database?
What is with all the hate? Don't read GamrReview Articles. Contact me to ADD games to the Database
