shouda couda wouda. even DQ IX was not a console game. single player console rpgs is what we all want but they have proven to be the achilles heel of the whole japanese industry this generation due to high production costs and huge risks concerning profits

Well on the Wii they wouldn't have had to worry about HD costs...

Tales of..., Ni No Kuni, etc. all say hi as well. Lets not blame production costs, we need to blame the fact that SE hasnt put out ANYTHING good on consoles the entire gen. While others have.
