The first one was awesome and memorable, though graphics are obviously dated for the time, I got that first when I couldn't find TR2 at the store (I had played the demo on the Playstation disks and I LOVED IT). Two is probably better, but I kinda like the feel of the 1st one because it has a very 'lost' feeling to it. TR2, you definitely have a lot more going on with different scenes and such. I think both were very well executed games. TR3... I had that only one on PC and I liked it OK, it looked pretty damn good for the time... I didn't get too heavy into it so I never finished it, so I guess that means it's not as good as the first two. I can see most people's complaint about it being true, but it was still an OK game and there were a lot of cool things I liked about it.

I never played Last Revelations :( I'm going to wait until the pack goes back on sale again in Steam. It let you buy all of them for $15. However, I still have the original PS1 TR and TR2... I highly recommend playing those on console versus the PC. Though I played PS1 when I owned the original/gold edition for the PC, so it's still alright.

I did a speed painting in remembrance of the sharp polygon boobs from TR1 in the art thread. Obviously I'm a big fan.

YES! The 1st one does totaly have a "lost" feeling or I'd say a isolated feeling. Lara is always on her own and the first game makes it feel like she is only has her wits and a pair of guns to get herself out of the most dangerious situations. The seconded gave her more tools and vehicles so it started to feel a little less like it was all her skills. I think that's why I loved the new Tomb Raider so much. She is isolated and alone just like the original.

BTW, I still love that polygon painting!
