Shibata (NOE) already adressed this and said that he was sorry about the shortage due to a higher than expected demand, new shipments of the Wii U version will be available next week and 3DS version the week after. He also mentioned the eShop ''Both versions of MH3U are available on nintendo eShop'' so there's that for conspiracy theorists ^^
