Those sales honestly aren't that impressive.
For a Japanese Dragon Quest, I'd say that's pretty disappointing even given the circumstances. 33k for DQX is considerably lower than MH3G port for the Wii U at launch and DQX had a hardware bundle. Game & Wario just flat out bombed.
I think Nintendo will look at these sales as largely a dissapointment.
