At another thought: which games are released or announced, that use UE4? I assume Watchdogs don't use it, as it comes to all consoles and I don't think Ubisoft already ported the engine on their own. So which games actually use the engine?

Only ones I can think of are Fortnite and Daylight.

So, currently UE4 missing WiiU is a non-issue. And we don't know how the situation will be in a year. I can guarantee, if games from customers of Epic sell well on WiiU, Epic will reconsidering the decision.

But generally it would be a clever move, if Nintendo would invest in porting the engine.

Next-gen han't even started yet.(No offense to Wii U)

Expect the next Batman game, the next Mortal Kombat, Borderlands 3(?), the "next Gears of War" from Epic.....these are all games that are certain to use UE4 since they used UE3. So unless these games I mentioned are also  coming to current-gen, expect UE4 to be used.

Yes, but that all will need time. You can be sure, should WiiU start to explode or only games based on UE start to sell good, Epic WILL port the engine. But they don't bother, because it makes no business-sense yet. So I say, that in the moment it is not important and for the future we will have to see how these things pan out.

I also said, it would be a clever move from Nintendo to pay for porting UE4.

I think youre gonna loose the bet with Ninjablade but win the other two. On topic, i say UE4 will be on WiiU 100%...but when its already well stablished on every other platform so devs find nonsensical to use UE3 anymore...
