My PC is pretty relevant to me as a gaming machine because there are lots of genres I enjoy that I can't play on my PS3 because they are pretty non-existent any more on consoles. RTS games, Space Sims and horror games mainly. It's a shame because during the PS1 era there was a fair few 3d space shooter games I enjoyed like Colony Wars. Best horror games I ever played were on the PS1 now that I think about it too.
Likewise there are genres that are only on consoles that I love that hardly ever appear on PCs such as 3D platformers and JRPGs.
