To me, Zelda is about a unique story with every game while keeping the fundamentals of the "zelda experience" in tact. With this, I don't feel like the franchise will ever need to stop, nor will it feel "finished" in my eyes (unlike some other IPs).
If I had it my way I would have a new Zelda game created every few years for the rest of my life. It's a gameplay experience I never get tired of, and I always love the new stories.
