I haven't read the whole thread, and I didn't even read the OP, but by looking at the thread title, I'm going to take a shot in the dark at what you were saying and assume I am correct.

Yes, Nintendo did screw us. They made a relatively cheap, addicting system that anyone can pick up and play which has expanded, and will continue to expand, the gaming market, which will cause a greater understanding and appreciation for the gaming market and community in general, resulting in a better world in which to live.

Yet even with this breakthrough, they have angered the anti-gaming Gods (aka Devil, aka Jack Thompson) because of a unlicensed game that allowed the gamer (i.e. anyone) to strangle Jack with the wiimote and nunchuck. I believe the game was called "The Godfather" which is an obvious play on the fact that Jack is "God" (aka Devil) and he is "your father" (aka a bitch). With his newly found rage at the gaming community, there is little chance for survival. So in a way, Nintendo did screw us. We will surely die.

But wait, there's hope! LucasArts has recently (read: a while ago) announced a game called "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" which, will allow you (oddly enough) play as an "apprentice" to the "Dark Master" and go around killing. Most likely the apprentice is the gamer (you), and the Dark Master is Jack Thompson, and at the end of the game you will be able to once and for all eliminate this threat to the galaxy (aka the gaming world). May the force be with you!
