Hmm.. I missed this bad boy.
Well I don't think that Nintendo will get their third party stuff in order. I mean, they've had a few gems. A launch game, a remake, and a cash-in (Red Steel, RE4 and RE:UC), but other than that, there haven't been a whole lot of third-party games.
I think that thhe whole "devs were blindsided by the Wii's success" thing is such a horrible excuse. Games like Call of Duty 4 or Burnout Paradise, which went into production after the PS3 came out beg to differ about developers not knowing about a systems success only doing shovelware. If that was the case, then how did these two games turn out so well, when production started after the system had been released? It's because the situation on the Wii will never get any better. Plain and simple.
