If Dinosaurs had invented Fire first, would they rule the earth right now and humans be their version of the Galapagos Island Iguana and the Crocodile? Only post if you are high this weekend!

It's not about inventing fire first.

It's actually about the fingers. If the Dinosaurs had had a thumb, things would have gone very different!

Almost this.

In order to be "rulers" they would have required a way to do fine movement.  Pincer grasp for example.   Dinousaurs did not had way to do fine movement at all.

If I was a caveman and a Dinosaur was waving fire at me I would just give up. You Win! I will go back to my cave and live off cave fish and bats! You do not have fine motor skills? Who cares! You have fine, sharp teeth and the power of the sun in your hands.

Without fine movement, dinosaurs would not even be able to create fire to begin with. ;)
